What to talk about...?

Thu Nov 19, 2009, 7:53 PM
  • Mood: Stuck
You won't see this often, but I really don't have that one thing to talk about in this journal entry. I'm just trying to get that birthday entry out of the way, quite honestly (can't have that up for longer than two weeks, lol). Still, I don't want this entry to become a total waste, so... RANDOM TOPIC TIME! You know, maybe I should experiment with those journal skins, now that non-subscribers can use them for a short while...

Anyways, I guess I could talk about me getting in contact with the Art Institutes of Fort Lauderdale today via phone, which turned out to be pretty cool, and one of the people at admissions was quite helpful in trying to help me pinpoint what I should be looking for right now. I won't get too much into it, as whenever I tend to get into specifics, it ends up turning into nothing, but let's just say the conversation today was pretty helpful to me in trying to figure out what route I should be taking. Now, if only I can be a little quicker about picking one...

So, what else has been going on...? Ah yes! There's that poll on this very site that I found to be really cool. I'm delighted to see that someone found the motivation vs. inspiration thing to be a topic of a poll, and it started to make me thing about which one would be more beneficial to me not only from an artistic perspective, but from a general life standpoint. ...To be honest, I'm having trouble choosing one over the other right now, as while looking at the work of others can get me going, I also need to be able to have a general direction or purpose for doing what I'm doing. Thank goodness for the "both" option, but if I had to choose one, I'm not sure which one would be more critical to my personal growth. Maybe I should put some serious thought into this, as it might be helpful.

Other than these, and me gaming for an excessive amount of time very recently, due to a new game, I don't really have much to note of at the moment. Oh well... I tried. If you have anything to speak of that'll add something to the randomness here, please say something. Well, I'm out of here. Peace!

A humble, down-to-earth human being whose gaming ventures are only rivaled by his artistic... shortcomings. Nevertheless, this deviantART member has made it his mission to improve, regardless of how much procrastination and slip-ups he might have along the way. Despite the [possibly] intimidating screenname and typing his ID in third person, Madmangamer364 is actually a pretty friendly person, and he is known for saying something cool once in a blue moon.

Just don't challenge him, or you might have trouble on your hands. =P

Thank you very much for your kind and thoughtful words. I greatly appreciate it. I thought it was funny in this week's episode of Pokemon "Classroom Training" one of the students had a Diglet for his Pokemon. You don't get to see them in the anime very often now a days. :( But these guys can be very powerful. :pokeball:

Thanks again, and I also enjoyed your stamp work. Most were very creative.

Heh, not bad! Judging from the design, part of me wants to think they were based off of Super Mario RPG, which is actually a game I've never played. =P

In any case, thanks for the little display there. :)
